- צַחַנְתָּא, צַחֲנָאch. sam(צחנה to be filthy), 1 (cmp. זוֹהֲמָא) effusion of semen. Targ. Ez. 23:20 (h. text זרמה). 2) as preced. 2. Ab. Zar.39a האי צ׳ דבבוכ׳ the tsaḥanta of Bab Nahăra is permitted (because no unclean fish are in that river, v. טִין); Succ.18a. Ab. Zar.40a ארבא דצ׳ a shipload of ts.Snh.49a; Yalk.
